Big Rush Luck
Big Rush Luck is one of those pick-up-and-play arcade titles that hides more depth than it first lets on. You guide a little runner down shifting lanes, dodging obstacles and chaining together clean runs. The controls are dead simple: tap to switch lanes, hold to slow down for a tight gap. Nothing to learn, everything to master.
What surprised me is how well the pacing ramps. Early rounds feel breezy, then the game quietly starts throwing overlapping hazards at you, and suddenly you're leaning into your phone like it'll help. The 'luck' in the name comes from randomised obstacle patterns, so no two runs feel copy-pasted. It keeps the loop fresh far longer than I expected.
Visually it's clean and readable even when things get chaotic, which matters a lot in a reflex game. My only gripe is that the soundtrack loops a bit too tightly. Play with your own music on and Big Rush Luck becomes a great little time-killer.
